Bicycle Helmets
Stark Research Labs is a world leader in the fight to protect our children against head injuries. Our new extremely light bicycle helmets with patented lightweight metal alloys have saved countless lives in bicycle accidents worldwide.

Bulletproof Cotton
We are developing flexible fabrics that are not only comfortable but protect against high calibre weapons. Our research includes creating more futuristic blast-proof fabrics that will eventually be incorporated into wearable clothing.

Super-strong Aluminum Alloy
Stark is working on a super-strong aluminum alloy that rivals the strength of stainless steel. This technological advance modifies the structure and will revolutionize the automobile and aerospace industries.

High-Entropy Alloys (HEAs)
Certain high-entropy alloys (HEAs) exhibit exceptional chemical, physical, mechanical, and functional properties and we have greatly expanded our research. HEAs have the ability to better protect military and law enforcement at a fraction of the current cost.

Copper Alloy Research
We are researching the benefits of using copper alloy for high-touch surfaces in healthcare facilities. Copper alloy is shown to significantly lower concentrations of bacteria and will create a much cleaner environment.

Grain Oriented Electrical Steel Research
We are researching improved mining approaches, chemical enhancing characteristics of GOES based products, and working with industry partners to test the benefits of enhanced GOES in extending the life of large power transformers as well as the efficiency of the products.  Our industry partner at Alset Energy is allowing rapid testing and development capabilities in an effort to produce innovative solutions for the market as soon as possible.

“Working with the industry-leading team at Stark Research Labs under JP Allen has truly been transformational for our Transmission engineering team at AE and the ability to leverage our existing Grid Laboratory for Energy Excellence (GLEE) has allowed us to partner and develop innovative solutions in an unprecedented manner.”  Kim E. Sanesta, Research lead at Alset Energy
